WINTER PARK, Fla. - Saint Leo freshman Jelena Tancic has been recognized for a second time as the Sunshine State Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by VALIC.
Tancic finished first among non-Division I competition and sixth overall at the FLRunners.com Invitational in Titusville, Fla. The freshman runner crossed the finish line in a time of 18:55.10 to lead the Lions to a first-place team finish with 21 points.

The Lions return to action on Friday, October 11, when they travel to Florida State University to run in the Florida State Invitational.
