In front of a cheering Family Weekend crowd, the Lions defeated the Panthers by a 3-0 score (26-24, 25-20, 25-19).

The first set of the afternoon was an exciting one for the home crowd, as fans watched the visiting Panthers lead for the majority of the set, only to cheer as the Lions came from behind and pounded home a 26-24 set win.

With the momentum in their favor, the Lions took to the court for set two and unleashed an offensive attack that sent the Panthers into the break with a 2-0 deficit.

After a short break, the Lions took to the court in the hopes of taking home a 3-0 victory, but the Panthers would not accept defeat lightly. After a back and forth battle, however, the Lions took home the set by a 25-19 score as well as a 3-0 SSC win.
