Hegg attended Appleton West HS…During her time as an AWHS ‘Terror’ she earned four varsity letters and served as team captain her junior and senior seasons…Playing under coach Stacey Foley, Hegg earned multiple accolades on the court including All-Conference and All-Area selections her sophomore, junior and senior seasons…She was also the team’s Most Valuable Player and a recipient of the J.J. Keller Foundation Scholarship…She also played for the Wisconsin Volleyball Academy club team under the direction of coach BJ Bryant.
