Saint Leo, Fla. (February 15, 2007) – The Saint Leo women’s tennis team (0-3) fell 9-0 to visiting Florida Southern College (1-0) in a non-conference match played at the SLU Tennis Center on Thursday.

The Lions were unable to register a point in the match as the 24th ranked Mocs who got off to a fast start by winning each of the doubles matches 8-1.

In singles play, Florida Southern won each of the matches in straight sets en route to their opening match victory.

Saint Leo will open its conference schedule on Saturday when No. 17 Nova Southeastern visits.  The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
