Garriock, Weber named CollegeSwimming.com Preseason All-Americans

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo senior Nicole Weber and junior Natalia Garriock were both named to CollegeSwimming.com's Division II Preseason All-America squads, announced late Monday.

Garriock was a Preseason All-America selection in both the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly, while Weber was tabbed for Preseason All-America honors in the 200 Breaststroke.

Garriock posted a time of 50.84 seconds in the 100 Free at the 2016 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, and finished 11th overall. That time was slightly off the 50.48 seconds and eighth place finish she recorded the previous year at the NCAA championship meet. In the 100 Fly, Garriock touched the wall in 55.51 seconds at this past year's NCAA championship, knocking .10 off her previous season's time.

Weber recorded a time of 2:16.78 in the 200 Breaststroke at the 2016 NCAA championships. However she posted a time of 2:15.43 in the 200 Breast at the 2016 Sunshine State Conference Swimming Championships, cruising to a second-place finish in the process with her best time of the season.
