WINTER PARK, Fla. - Saint Leo senior Allison Cary has been named Sunshine State Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, league offcials announced Monday.
The Mechanic Falls, Maine native tallied two breaststroke wins in the Lions' victories over Florida Tech and Rollins. In the 50-yard event, she finished first with a time of 29.83. In the 100-yard race, she posted a winning time of 1:03.94. She also combined on a pair of relay wins. The Lions took the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.86 and clocked a mark of 1:44.93 in the 200 freestyle relay.
