Women's Soccer Falls to Tusculum, 4-0 in Bobcat Shootout

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Saint Leo University women's soccer team (1-2) fell to the Pioneers of Tusculum College (3-1) by a final score of 4-0, Friday night at the Bobcat Shootout in Milledgeville, Ga.

Despite totaling 12 shots for the match, six of which were on goal, the Lions were shutout against the Pioneers, who jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Tramicka James sent one into the top right corner after a cross from Kim Brown. 

After two more goals in the first half from James, the Pioneers took a 3-0 lead into the break and the Lions were unable to recover.  Tusculum's Brown tacked on another goal in the 75th minute, capping off the 4-0 win for the Pioneers.

The Lions ended the game with a total of six shots on goal and goalkeeper Abby Evans (1-1) saved four shots on the night.

The Lions will get back into action again on Sunday when they face off against Georgia College on the final day of the Bobcat Shootout. Kickoff is slated for 12:30 PM.
