WINTER PARK, Fla. – Saint Leo forward Ari Foreman has been tabbed as the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week after her two-goal performance at Barry on Saturday afternoon, league officials announced Monday.
The Tinton Falls, N.J. native scored both of the Lions' goals to keep the squad's SSC regular season title hopes alive, lifting the Green and Gold to a 2-1 victory on the road against the Bucs. Foreman scored the first goal just four minutes into the contest, and then blasted the game-winner in the 29th minute to help the Lions stay undefeated against conference opponents.
The Saint Leo women's soccer team returns to action on Thursday, October 27, when they take on the University of Tampa in their final game of the regular season.
