SAINT LEO, Fla. – Entering into their sixth week of regular season action, the Saint Leo women's soccer team comes in at No. 6 on the NSCAA DII National Poll for the second consecutive week.
Saint Leo tops the list of three Sunshine State Conference schools to appear on this week's national poll. The Rollins College Tars hold onto their 10th-place ranking, and Florida Tech drops to 17th.
The Green and Gold holds onto an unblemished 10-0 record, and have earned a 3-0 mark against conference opponents. Traveling to Nova Southeastern today, the Lions look to earn another key conference victory on the road. Saint Leo holds onto the series advantage, 8-3-1, and defeated the Sharks 4-0 in their last outing thanks to three goals from Pia Soesemann.
After this evening's SSC showdown at Nova Southeastern, the Lions return to action on Friday, October 7, when they host 10th-ranked Rollins College at University Field.
