Macko earned her first-ever selection to the NCAA South Region Team after a career-year in which she scored six goals and added nine assists (21 points).  She was tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals as a sophomore, and was one of only three players to start all 20 matches in 2007.  Macko was also an All-Sunshine State Conference First Team member in 2007.

O’Connor was an All-South Region selection for the second straight year after being a First Team choice in 2006.  The senior battled injury in 2007, but managed to score four goals and add four assists for 12 points.  She scored Saint Leo’s goal in a 2-1 extra-time loss to Montevallo in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.

Beard set a new Saint Leo women’s soccer record for assists in a single season, as she tallied 11 in the 2007 campaign.  The striker, who also saw time in wide areas of the midfield, was also tied for the team lead with seven goals and finished as the team leader with 25 points.

Both O’Connor and Beard were also named Second Team Al-Sunshine State Conference following the 2007 season.

The Saint Leo women’s soccer team finished the 2007 campaign with a 15-5 record.  Head coach Ged O’Connor guided the team to a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, hosting the NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds.  The Lions were runners-up in the Sunshine State Conference for the second consecutive season and also finished runners-up in the SSC Tournament for a second straight season.
