Saint Leo in fifth at Lady Bucs Invitational

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. -- The Saint Leo women's golf team posted rounds of 305 and 302 on Day One of the Lady Bucs Invitational, placing the Lions fifth heading into Tuesday's final round. Amanda Jakobsson was Saint Leo's top individual performer with tallies of 74-71 (+1) for seventh place. 

No. 7 Nova Southeastern leads the 15 team field with a low score of 582 (+6). No. 3 Rollins sits one stroke back from the Sharks. Rollins' Annie Dulman tops the individual leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 139 (-5). In the first round, Dulman shot a 66, a tournament record. 

Jakobsson shot a two-over 74 out of the gates in the opening round, and fired a 71 (-1) in the second round. Marie Coors sits eight strokes back in a tie for 33rd, at nine-over 153 through two rounds. Clare Connolly isn't far behind, back a lone stroke at 154 (+10). Connolly is tied for 40th place with 18 holes to play. 

Kellianne May opened Monday's action with a first round 75, but followed with a second round 81 for a 36-hole score of 156 (+12). Vilde Eriksen rounded out the Lions lineup while Lauren Petty played as an individual. Petty shaved off four strokes between rounds, notching subsequent scores of 77 and 73. Her six-over par 150 total is good for 20th place.
