Women's Golf Ranked 10th in First Coaches' Poll of Spring

NEW YORK, N.Y.—The first Golf World/WGCA Division II College Women's Coaches' Poll of the 2013 Spring Season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine and the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). The Saint Leo women's golf team checks in at No. 11—dropping one spot from where they finished in the fall rankings.

Seven Sunshine State Conference teams appear in the poll—with five of the top 10 and six of the top 11 teams hailing from the SSC.

The Lions have played in just one tournament this spring, the Lady Moc Classic, where they finished 10th.

Next up for the Lions is the Peggy Kirk Invitational in Orlando, Fla. on Mar. 4th and 5th.
