Women’s Golf Stands Ninth in Latest Golf World/NGCA Poll

NEW YORK, NY - Coming off a 54-hole tournament record at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate, the Saint Leo women's golf team maintained their ninth-place ranking in the latest Golf World/NGCA Division II College Women's Coaches' Poll, it was announced Wednesday.

Nova Southeastern remains the top-ranked team in the poll, claiming nine of the 10 available first-place votes.  Florida Southern held on to its No. 2 ranking, while St. Edward's maintained its No. 3 position. Rounding out the top five was No. 4 Lynn and No. 5 Tarleton State.

Barry was the fifth Sunshine State Conference school represented in the top-10 as they came in at No.6.

The Lions return to action on Monday, April 2, when they travel to Litchfield Park, Ariz. to compete in the Grand Canyon Intercollegiate, hosted by Grand Canyon University. The event will take place at the Patriot Course at Wigwam Resort.
