Lions Sit Ninth on Latest Golf World/NGCA DII Women's Golf Poll

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Halfway through their spring campaign, the Saint Leo women's golf team has come in at No. 9 on the latest Golf World/NGCA Division II Women's Golf Poll, dropping one spot from their previous eighth-place ranking.

Including the Green and Gold, five Sunshine State Conference schools sit in the top ten in the latest poll, led by Nova Southeastern in first, and Florida Southern in a close second.  Lynn University checks in at No. 5 this week, with Barry following in sixth place.

The Lions return to action on Sunday, March 18, when they participate at the C&F Bank Invitational, hosted by the College of William & Mary at the River Course – Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.  For the latest news, updates, and information on the women's golf team, visit saintleolions.com.
