Coach's Quotes "This team has as much fight in them as any team I've coached in 22 years. We have complete buy-in from all ten active players and a huge commitment to getting better each and every day. This team works, whether it's film or strength or conditioning or practice - they work daily."
"I can't say enough about Ragen Dotson who was incredible for 40 minutes on both ends tonight. She has such an amazing upside to grow even more, and I am proud that she commits herself to being all she can be."
"I asked four players, outside of Chelsy Springs, to rebound tonight and they were all relentless on the glass. This was clearly our best game on the boards and the defensive end. Chelsy Springs was unguardable in the second half and cleaned up the glass, while Asia Royster continues to work on her total game. Asia is growing in so many ways that it just makes you smile. Izzy Skoogh was the unsung hero tonight. She kept us in the game in the second half, grabbed a few boards herself and is gaining confidence at the right time."
"We are gelling and getting better daily, but we have a lot of work to do. We must continue to believe that we can grow each day in many many ways. This was a great night for the ladies and Saint Leo."
Saint Leo heads to Nova Southeastern on Saturday, Feb. 18 for a 5:30 p.m. game.
