Saint Leo, Fla. (October 17, 2006) – The Saint Leo University volleyball team (18-6, 5-4 SSC) swept Seton Hill (15-12) on Tuesday night at the Bowman Center.  The Lions won by the scores of 30-19, 30-23, and 30-24.

Saint Leo was sparked by sophomore middle blocker Emily Frey (Mason, Ohio) and sophomore libero Amanda Cook (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.).  Frey had 12 kills and a .417 hitting percentage.  Cook added 25 digs and has now registered a total of 55 digs in her last two matches after a 30-dig performance last week versus the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras. 

The Lions controlled the match from the outset, winning game one comfortably.  Seton Hill held the lead briefly in games two and three, but the Lions were able to hold off the Griffin charge.  Saint Leo hit .252 as a team, while Seton Hill hit .059. 

Saint Leo remains at the Bowman Center for a conference match-up Friday Night against Lynn University (7:00 p.m.).  It is the first of seven straight conference matches to finish the regular season.  The game will be broadcast live on
