Lions Lose 6-3 to Dutch National Team

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo softball team dropped a 6-3 decision to the Dutch National Softball Team in an exhibition game on Wednesday afternoon at University Softball Stadium. 

The Dutch jumped on top quickly running out to a 4-1 lead through three innings.

The Lions finally got on the scoreboard with runs in the third and sixth innings.  Cassie Boggs stole home in the third, while Rachael Heath stole home and Jami Schlecker crossed the plate on McKenzie Burns bunt in the sixth inning

Saint Leo will return home to start a three-game series on March 21th at 7 p.m. against Florida Tech.
