Men’s Cross Country Places 14th At Mountain Dew Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's cross country team posted a 14th-place finish from the University of Florida's Mountain Dew Invitational, Saturday morning from University Golf Course. In total, the Lions collected 409 points during their 8K run.

In total, two Lions;' runners cracked the top-100 as Jon Norris and Brian Haynes each ran impressive races.

Norris, the Lions top finisher, posted a finishing time of 28:32.96 while crossing the line 82nd.

Haynes was mere seconds behind Norris as he crossed the tape at 28:44.49, and a finishing spot of 86th.

Eric Dirth registered a time of 29:35.31, while David Malys and Connor Callahan collected times of 29:44.74 and 30:03.00, respectively.

Michael Berry and Jeff Van Natter bookended the Saint Leo effort as they rang-up a times of 30:12.19 and 32:11.75.
