#3 Men's tennis sweeps Palm Beach Atlantic

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The No. 3 Saint Leo Men's Tennis team took down Palm Beach Atlantic, 9-0, in a hot midday match in West Palm Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Saint Leo jumped out to a 3-0 lead following doubles. The Lions saw Jaime Bueno and Willem Van Den Akker dominate No. 3 doubles, 8-2. Francisco Aparicio and Oskar Nurmio took No. 2's by the score of 8-6, while Thomas Grinberg and Vincent Suillerot won No. 1's by the same score.

Suillerot added a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, while Charles Benet took No. 4's, 6-2, 6-4.

Bueno claimed No. 3 singles with a 6-4, 6-2 set win. His double partner in Van Den Akker added a 7-6 (7-1), 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

Grinberg took No. 1's with a 7-6 (7-1), 6-1, win, while Oskar Nurmio needed three sets, going 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 to help the take the sweep.

Saint Leo returns to action on Saturday, April 8 for an 11 a.m. match at Florida Southern.
