Lions hold steady in latest ITA National Ranking

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released the first national rankings of the New Year and the Saint Leo tennis teams remained in their previous spots as the women's team stayed in the No. 3 spot, while the men's team stayed at No. 7.

The Top 10 on the men's side saw positions one-through-nine stay the same from the November 2015 rankings, while Georgia College, whom Saint Leo beat, elbowed its way into the No. 10 position after previously holding the No. 12 spot. For the women, the Top 10 stayed exactly the same.

The Lions also remained in their spots in the South Region rankings, as the women hold the No. 1 spot, and the men hold the No. 3 spot.

Saint Leo hits the road this weekend to take on Flagler, No. 16 on the women's side and No. 25 on the men's side, for a 10 A.M. match for the women and a 1 P.M. match for the men.
