Sisti earns final match appearance in day two of C.L. Varner Memorial Invite

WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Saint Leo University men's tennis program finished day two of the C.L. Varner Memorial Inviational hosted by Rollins College, Saturday.  Junior Bruno Sisti advanced to the Flight D final match Sunday to conclude the tournament.

Sisti has not dropped a set through two days of play, defeating Austin Racine of Troy University by match scores of 6-1 and 6-2 to complete the sweep.  The junior will face Tyler Pate of UCF on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Oskar Nurmio advanced to the Flight C consolation draw final which will be played Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Lions' Pedro Gonzalez fell to Pate to open the day as Jacobo Gonzalez-Tarrio was also eliminated from the consolation round, leaving Sisti and Nurmio as the lone Lions remaining in the tournament.
