Men’s Tennis comes in at No. 4 on Latest ITA National Rankings

Lions Earn Highest Ranking in Program History

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Sitting with an overall record of 14-3, the Saint Leo men's tennis team comes in at No. 4 on the second ITA Division II National Rankings of the spring season.  The ranking marks the highest in program history for the Lions.

Only one other Sunshine State Conference school ranks higher than the Lions on the latest national poll as Barry slips from its previous top-ranking down to No. 2 this week.  Lynn comes in at No. 8, while Rollins sits 20th.  West Florida takes over No. 1 this week.

Currently riding a seven-match win streak, the Lions three losses come to teams ranked within the top-10.  Saint Leo currently ranks fourth in the South Region, sitting behind West Florida, Barry, and Lynn.

The Saint Leo men's tennis team returns to action on Saturday, March 29, when they travel to Melbourne, Fla. to take on Florida Tech in Sunshine State Conference action.  For more information, fans can visit
