12th-Ranked Lions get back on Track with 8-1 Win over Florida Tech

SAINT LEO, Fla. – After matches against two of the nation's top three teams, the Saint Leo men's tennis team was able to get back into the win column as the Lions dominated visiting Florida Tech, 8-1 on Monday afternoon from the Saint Leo Tennis Center.

Only dropping a match at No. 4 singles, the Lions swept through the rest of the singles and doubles with all but one of the Lions' (4-2, 1-1 SSC) matches getting decided in straight sets.  21st-ranked Aloua Adjenak, Bruno Sisti, No. 29 Matt Nicholson-Lewis, Antoine Raffaelli and Fons Verberne all picked up singles victories for the Lions.

Sweeping through the doubles, the Lions only conceded a total of seven points to the Panthers (1-2, 1-2 SSC) in tandem action.

The Lions will next face Palm Beach Atlantic when they travel to West Palm Beach for a Saturday matchup with the Sailfish.  The match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
