Bryce Selects Beth Daub as Assistant Coach

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo Men's and Women's Tennis Coach James Bryce has announced the addition of Beth Daub to his coaching staff. Daub will begin her duties immediately.

Daub, a former member of the Towson University Tigers' tennis team, will be responsible for recruiting, monitoring student-athlete GPA's, as well as each aspect of practice and game day coaching.

"Being part of the Saint Leo community and the tennis program is exciting and I am eager to meet the team and get starts," said Daub on joining the Green & Gold. "I am looking forward to working closely with Coach Bryce and helping each player reach their goals."

Building her resume since 2007, Daub excelled in extracurricular activity as well as the court at Towson. Being named team captain, Daub was also a member of the GROWL, a student-athlete mentoring service, and PAWS, or Student-Athletes Who Serve, a student-athlete advisory council.

Most recently, Daub spent two years working as a Student-Athlete Administrative Assistant at Towson. She also spent time interning with the Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers.

As a student-athlete, Daub helped guide her squad to both State and National appearances, while also instructing at Hernon Bay Tennis Club in Parkland, Fla.

Bryce is excited about his latest coaching addition, "I am very excited to have Beth join our department as she becomes a part of the tennis program. Her playing experience and leadership will assist our student-athletes to get the most out of their experience at Saint Leo. I am looking forward to working closely with her as we aim for our program goals this year."
