Men's and Women's Tennis Conclude Seasons Nationally Ranked
SAINT LEO, Fla. – Both the Saint Leo men’s and women’s tennis teams concluded their 2011 regular season ranked in the top-50 of the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Top-50 poll, it was announced Friday. The men catapulted six spots to finish No.21 while the women slipped four spots falling to No.31.

Lozier Selected Freshman of the Year; Nicholson-Lewis, Adjenak Also Tabbed All-SSC
SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men’s tennis freshman, Victor Lozier, was selected Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year, it was announced Thursday by SSC Commissioner Jay Jones. In addition, Lozier earned a spot on the All-SSC First Team as did the doubles duo of Lozier and Matt Nicholson-Lewis. Individually, Nicholson-Lewis and Aloua Adjenak were chosen All-SSC Second Team.

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Saint Leo men’s tennis team (14-10) nearly upset the No.9-ranked Rollins College Tars in the third place match of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, but fell just short as they dropped a 5-3 decision, Saturday evening from the Sanlando Tennis Complex.
