GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Saint Leo junior Hunter Bains finished second out of 31 swimmers in the 200 Freestyle, in Friday night's events at the Colorado Mesa Intermountain Shootout swim meet at the El Pomar Natatorium.

Bains clocked a time of 1:39.45 in the 200 Free, just .16 seconds out of first place and within the NCAA "B" cut range even without the altitude adjustment.

Junior Jan Urbaniak competed in the 1650 Freestyle in the Colorado Mesa Intermountain Shootout, and recorded a time of 16:08.70 to finish fourth overall. With the altitude adjustment however, Urbaniak's time falls well within "B" cut range.

Both swimmers will be back in action on Saturday when Urbaniak competes in the 500 Freestyle, while Bains swims in the 100 Freestyle.
