Swim Teams Make Early Season National Impact

SAINT LEO, Fla. – With three meets already in the books, the Saint Leo men's and women's swimming programs have made an impact in the national polls.

According to CollegeSwimming.com, Saint Leo swimmers currently 24 times rank within the top-30 of their respective events. 17 of those times belong to five individuals and five separate relay teams, while the women see two individuals and five separate relay squads on the list.

The men, who rank No.17 in the nation, have posted three Sunshine State Conference Swimmers of the Week, in addition to earning and National Swimmer of the Week accolade.

These rankings are an average of power points per event. Power points are determined by comparing event times to the national data base for that respective event.
