Mansfield, Texas – Competing in day two of the 2012 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming Championship, Saint Leo men's swimmer Tim Olson took to the starting block in the 100-Yard Butterfly preliminary round. Olson touched with a time of 50.72, good for 35th overall, but missing the Championship and Consolation Finals rounds by 17 spots.
Olson returns to action in the final day of the 2012 NCAA Swimming Championship on Saturday, March 17, when he will swim in his final event of the competition, the 100-Yard Freestyle. The Land O'Lakes, Fla. native earned an automatic invite with his "B" time of 44.92, placing him 10th in the national standings going into Saturday's prelims.
