Saint Leo, Fla. (February 10, 2007) - The Saint Leo men’s and women’s swimming teams fell to Rollins College in a meet hosted at Saint Leo on Saturday morning.  The men fell 101-64, while the women fell 114-59.

For the Saint Leo men Brian Kiessling (Fr., Mt. Pleasant, N.C.) led thew ay with a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle in a new school record time of 1:55.12.  Keissling also and won the 100 freestyle in 51.12 breaking senior Kane Curtis's (Dade City, Fla.) record of 51.68.

Freshman Kyle Gramm (Naples, Fla.) was second in the 100 freestyle in 52.40 and Scott Fink (Fr., Tampa, Fla.) won the 100 Butterfly in 57.93. Junior Travis Robbins (Jr., Dunellon, Fla.) took second in the men's 1650 yd freestyle setting a school record of 20:13.70.

On the women's side freshman Erin Hotchkiss (Tampa, Fla.) won the 200 freestyle and 100 fly, while freshman Erin Lucas (Steubenville, Ohio) won the women's 100 backstroke, and sophomore Sarah Tatko (North Port, Fla.) took second in the 500 and 1650 freestyle events.

The next event for both teams will be the Sunshine State Collegiate Championships in Orlando March 2-4.
