On April 13, 2012, head men's soccer coach Keith Fulk announced the addition of Roger Kennedy to his coaching staff as his first assistant.

After compiling four years of coaching service, Kennedy joins the Lions from his latest venture as the director of coaching at East Pasco.

Kennedy is responsible for developing the forwards, as well as recruiting, fundraising and serving as academic coordinator for the Lions.

A Brooksville, Fla. native, Kennedy spent three seasons training the New Jersey Stallions, as well as a quartet of Hernando Heat teams. He is also a regular on the elite camp circuit, supplying his knowledge to the SGA Soccer Academy in Connecticut, in addition to select University of Tampa residential camps.

As an amateur, Kennedy spent one season playing for the University of Tampa in 1999 and Milligan College in 2000, prior to a two-year stint with Young Harris College (1997-99).

As a professional, Kennedy spent four seasons in the USL Pro League where he played with the Reading Rage, Hershey Wildcats, Connecticut Wolves, and the New Jersey Stallions. Internationally, Kennedy has competed on such squads as Waterford United (Ireland) and Caracas F.C. (Venezuela).

Kennedy is currently working towards his degree in Sport Business.
