Schoenhuber Earns SSC Defensive Weekly Honor

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Saint Leo sophomore goalkeeper Manuel Schoenhuber led the No. 10 Lions to a 2-0 week in conference action to extend their undefeated streak to six games. Schoenhuber faced 18 shots, making eight saves, against Barry to begin the week. 

The sophomore from Traunstein, Bavaria, Germany kept the sheet clean to earn his fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win. Against Florida Southern, Schoenhuber recorded two saves while facing 10 shots in a 2-1 victory. Saint Leo is now 9-1-1, 3-0-1 in SSC action.

The Lions will return to action on Tuesday, October 22 when they take a local road trip to Tampa, Fla. to battle the University of Tampa Spartans. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
