Saint Leo, Fla. (September 2, 2008) – The Saint Leo University men’s soccer team, after posting a 2-0 record to start the season, have cracked the top 25 in the latest NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches of America Association) it was announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Lions posted a pair of victories in their first week of action including a 3-2 defeat of Montreat College and 1-0 double overtime thriller against the University of Indianapolis helping them earn the No. 25 slot in the poll.

Saint Leo is joined by three fellow Sunshine State Conference schools, including Lynn University, Nova Southeastern University and Barry University.

The Lions begin play on the road this week as they head to Pensacola, Fla. to take on the University of West Florida in regional action. Kickoff is set to set to begin at 6:00 p.m. EST.
