Saint Leo, Fla. (December 8, 2006) – Saint Leo University men’s soccer player Asmir Pervan (Sr., Simmern, Germany) was named to the NSCAA/adidas All-America Second Team for the second consecutive year on Friday.

Pervan added to his previous post-season honors after also being named First Team NSCAA/adidas All-South Region, All-Sunshine State Conference and First Team DAKTRONICS All-South Region.

The German native, and graduate of nearby Northeast High School moved to third all-time in Saint Leo men’s soccer program history by scoring 12 goals and totaling 27 points in the 2006 campaign.  For his career, Pervan totaled 44 goals and 101 points.

A total of four Sunshine State Conference players, including Pervan, were named All-Americans.  Lynn had two selections (Leon Jackson-First Team and Carl Wallace-Third Team), while SSC Player of the Year Chris Cerroni from Rollins joined Pervan on the Second Team.
