Men's Lax earns #18 ranking in Week One USILA/Nike Coaches Poll

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team broke into the national rankings as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the week one USILA/Nike Coaches Poll and the Lions were tied for 18th with 64 points.

Saint Leo tied with Pace University out of New York.

The Lions are 2-0 on the young season and used a win over then-ranked No. 7 LIU Post to open the season strong. LIU Post rang in at No. 16 in the week one poll.

Saint Leo was joined by Sunshine State Conference members Tampa, No. 7, and Lynn, No. 15, in the poll. Rollins and Florida Tech are receiving votes as well.

The Lions return to the field as the head to Coker College in Hartsville, S.C., on Saturday, Feb. 25 for a 1 p.m. game.
