Future Lions' Midfielder Selected US Lacrosse All-American

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Men's Lacrosse early signee Dylan Yontz has been named a US Lacrosse All-American, it was announced Monday. The Penn Yan High School midfielder is the third future Lion to earn All-American considerations in 2012.

Guiding his team to the New York State Class 'C' State Finals and gaining recognition on the All-Tournament team, Yontz received the highest of athletic honors as he was  selected a US Lacrosse All-American with a 46-goal, 29-assist senior campaign.

The midfielder also earned All-Section First Team accolades, in addition to series of awards during a dominant junior season, including D&C All-Greater Rochester Super-16.

Yontz will join fellow All-Americans, Dave Moore and Matt Weller, for the Lions' fall training sessions beginning in 2012.
