Men's Lacrosse Opens 2012 Campaign at Florida Tech

SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team opens their 2012 season on the road, Tuesday evening, when the Lions take on the Florida Tech Panthers in Deep South Conference action.

Fans will be able to catch all of the action live from Melbourne Central Catholic's Hustler Stadium thanks to Live Stats and Audio provided by FIT.  Fans who can attend tonight's season opener can find Hustler Stadium on the east side of Melbourne Central Catholic's campus at 100 East Florida Ave. in Melbourne, Fla.

The DSC showdown marks the opening contest for both teams, and is the first regular season game for the first-year Panthers as they kick off their inaugural season.

The Deep South Conference is now comprised of nine member institutions.  Saint Leo is joined in the Sunshine State by Rollins and Florida Southern, along with the league's two new faces, Florida Tech and Tampa.  Wingate, Mars Hill, Lenoir-Rhyne, and reigning DSC Champion Catawba round out the conference.
