Play suspended for men's golf at Argonaut Invite

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The first round of play at the Argonaut Invitational, where the Saint Leo men's golf team is currently playing, was suspended after 16 holes due to darkness. The first day of the tournament was delayed due to inclement weather, pushing the golfers off the course until the late afternoon.

Play had barely begun Monday when the tournament was halted due to rain. The golfers would return to the course at 2 p.m. before play was suspended due to darkness at 8:15 p.m.

The field will resume play Tuesday at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start to wrap up the first round and play another 18, reducing the tournament from the scheduled 54-holes to 36-holes.
