Lions in Sixth Place after Second Round of Webber Invite

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's golf team wrapped up 36 holes of action in sixth place as the Lions sit in the middle of the pack in the nine-team Start2Finish Webber Invitational hosted by Webber International University and competed at the Lake Wales Golf & Country Club on Sunday.

The Lions posted a two-round 295-317—612 on a windy afternoon as they trail tournament leader Rollins College by 33 strokes heading into the third and final round on Monday.

Nick Brothers carded a two-round total 70-77—147 as he is currently in a tie for eighth place overall and seven strokes out of first place.

Ten spots behind Brothers is Rick Briggs in 18th, who posted a 78-74—152, while Justin Foster's 72-82—154 has him sitting solely in 24th.

Codi Daudelin sits fourth on the team and in a tie for 35th overall after turning in cards of 75-85—160.  Finally, Chaz Heintz is in 40th spot carding 78-84—162.
