BEAVERTON, Ore. – Saint Leo University men's basketball standout Jerrel Harris has been named the Division II Bulletin Player of the Month for November as it was announced by the weekly publication on December 3.
The Lions' senior guard continues to pile up the points after recording three 20-plus point performances, including 31 points against Virginia Union, in the week before Thanksgiving. Harris now has five 20-plus point performances and two 30-plus point performances in just eight games. He recorded 24 points and nine rebounds to open the week in a 76-65 win over Flagler.
The Milwaukee, Wisc. native scored half of the Lions' points in a 68-62 setback against Virginia Union with 31 points, while also recording five steals. Harris then led Saint Leo to an 84-80 upset victory over No. 18 USC-Aiken with 21 points. He finished the week averaging 25.3 points per game.
His performance also earned him a Player of the Week award in the Sunshine State Conference on November 25.
