Saint Leo Men’s Basketball to Raise Money for Cesar Odio Leukemia Foundation

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Ticket proceeds from the Saint Leo men's basketball game against Barry on Saturday, February 9, will be directly donated to the Cesar Odio Leukemia Foundation, head coach Lance Randall announced Friday.

Odio, the head men's basketball coach at Barry, was diagnosed with Leukemia for the second time in April.  He has coached the Buccaneers for 18 years, guiding Barry to three NCAA Division II national tournaments and establishing a school record for wins (23) in a season twice.

One hundred percent of the funds raised from the ticket sales from the men's basketball game will be donated to the Foundation.  A donation jar will also be available at the ticket table for those who wish make additional contributions.
