SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's and women's basketball programs are offering fans a formal sneak peek into their preparations for the 2012-13 season by hosting "An Evening with Lions Basketball" on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Hosted by Lance Randall and Nikki Jessee, "An Evening with the Lions" will serve as a way for fans and supporters to meet both teams and get ready for the upcoming season.
Festivities during the evening include a chance to hear from both Coach Randall and Coach Jessee as they share their thoughts on their respective teams, along with insight on each team's schedule and opportunities during the year.
"It's a great opportunity for both teams to showcase this year's teams, and hopefully build on that momentum for our upcoming seasons," Coach Jessee said as she readies for the season with a completely remade team with a fresh outlook. "Through this great opportunity, we are hopeful both teams draw more and more support from fans, boosters, alumni, as well as the local community."
