WINTER PARK, Fla. - Bright House Sports Network has announced it will be broadcasting both championship games of the 2012 Sunshine State Conference Basketball Championships live. The games will be played Sunday, March 4, at Jenkins Field House on the campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland.
Eight men's and women's teams will earn the opportunity to compete in the SSC Basketball Championship, which begins with quarterfinal action on Wednesday, February 29. Quarterfinal games will be hosted on the campus of the teams who earn the highest seeds. Winners of those contests will advance to the semifinals, which will be played at Jenkins Field House on Saturday, March 3. Semifinal winners will advance to Sunday's televised finals.
The men's championship final will be broadcast at 1 p.m. on Sunday, and the women's final will follow at 3 p.m.
Both games can be viewed live on Bright House Sports Network, available exclusively to Bright House Digital Cable subscribers on digital channel 47. Those with high definition televisions can also watch the game in HD on channel 1147.
