SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men’s basketball team wasted little time in dispatching visiting Florida College as they handed the Falcons a 92-54 defeat in non-conference action at the Bowman Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions dominated the game from behind the 3-point arc as they hit 10 treys during the course of the contest.  The Lions were 10-of-31 from distance with freshman Dominick Robinson blistering the nets from range.  In 31 minutes, Robinson managed to drain five 3-pointers and was 6-of-9 overall as he bucketed 18 points.

Senior Jordan Prais joined Robinson with a game-high 18 points as he went 10-of-12 from the free throw line.  As was the case in the Florida Southern game, he finished one rebound shy of a double-double.

Senior Josue Vazquez notched his first double-double as he joined the fun going 7-for-9, scoring 16 points and dishing out 10 assists in just 23 minutes.  Newcomer Daniel Oliver added 13 points in the victory.

Saint Leo’s third-straight victory saw the Lions shoot nearly 50 percent (31-of-63) from the field and go 20-for-25 (80 percent) from the free throw line.

The Lions now return to Sunshine State Conference play as they host Eckerd College on Wednesday night.  The Lions and Tritons will tip off at 7:30 p.m. in the Bowman Center.
