SLU carried the momentum into the second half, scoring the first five points and nine of the first 11 for a 13-point lead with 14:52 left to play.  The game was put out of reach with an 11-2 Saint Leo run that gave the Lions a 65-54 advantage with 7:43 remaining.  The lead grew to as much as 30 points down the stretch.

Saint Leo was red hot from the field as a team, shooting 60.4% (29-of-48), including 53.3% (8-of-15) in three-point field goals.  The Lions also held the rebounding advantage 35-25 in the contest.
