Harris Receives NCBWA All-America Honorable Mention

AUSTIN, Texas - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its annual All-America Team, Friday morning. Saint Leo freshman Dylan Harris earned an honorable mention.

A local product, coming to the Lions by way of Land O' Lakes, Fla., Harris was also named to the Daktronics All-South Region First team and garnered a selection to the NCBWA All-South Region First Team. The freshman third baseman was tabbed as the Sunshine State Freshman of the year, after leading all Sunshine State Conference freshmen in hitting on the season with a .366 average. The newcomer also led the SSC in hits and at-bats, tying for third overall in runs scored. He ended his freshman campaign with a team-leading 45 runs scored, 71 hits, and 13 stolen bases.
