WINTER PARK, Fla. - Senior lefty pitcher Brandon Terry was named the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week, it was announced Monday from the conference office. Terry joins Player of the Week Sheehan Planas-Arteaga from Barry as this week's honorees. The awards, selected by the Sunshine State Conference, are presented by VALIC.
A native of Indian Harbour Beach, the lefty reliever appeared in four games for the Lions, including a mid-week loss to Southeastern and all three games of the Lions' regional sweep of Palm Beach Atlantic. Terry recorded two saves and picked up a victory in 4.1 innings of work. In addition, he struck out five batters, allowing one hit and no runs.

Terry and his Lions squad will be back in action on Wednesday, March 5 when they host the visiting Saint Anslem Hawks. First pitch for the midweek contest is slated for 6:00 p.m.
