PENSACOLA, Fla. –Lions senior outfielder Taed Moses continues to rack up the weekly accolades after his impressive weekend versus Nova Southeastern, adding South Region Player of the Week honors to the list, it was announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Just a few days after being named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, Moses adds another honor to his season resume. In this past weekend's three-game series sweep of the Sharks, Moses battled a stunning .800 at the plate (8-for-10) with seven runs and four runs batted in. Combined between the three games Moses had four extra base hits with both two doubles and two triples.
Moses' remarkable weekend at the plate resulted in him taking over the lead for team batting average at .356, and he now leads the team in triples with four.
Moses and the Lions get back in action tomorrow evening for the first of a three-game set vs. Florida Tech. First pitch on Friday is set for 6:00 p.m.
