Appearing in a team-high 24 games on the mound…Albers totaled 31.0 innings pitched while posting an ERA of 2.32—the lowest on the staff…Albers collected two wins while also leading the team with four saves on the season…Tallied 32 strikeouts…Posted back-to-back saves in both games of a Feb. 17 doubleheader against West Alabama. 

AS A JUNIOR (2012)
Albers made 15 appearances in his junior campaign…Tossed 17.1 innings with an ERA of 3.68…Tied for the team-high with three saves…Tallied 16 strikeouts…Held opposing hitters to a .254 average…Allowed just seven earned runs all year…Did not give up a run in 10 of his 15 appearances…Had multiple strikeouts in three of his outings…Struck out three batters against Florida tech on April 14. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011)
Albers tossed 21.1 innings out of the bullpen for the Lions… Struck out 12 batters and allowed just eight walks…Surrendered just nine earned runs…Posted a 3.80 ERA…Struck out a season high three batters on three occasions…In his best performance of the season, Albers worked three innings, allowing just one hit and striking out three against Minnesota State-Mankato (03/07/11).

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Albers appeared in 12 games on the mound as a freshman for the Lions…He pitched 21 innings striking out 17 batters…On a side note he also went to bat in one game for the Lions where he went 1-for-2 with a run scored giving him a .500 batting average for the season.
