SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo Baseball Head Coach Russ McNickle, has announced the return of the World “Blood Bowl” Series to University Field. The best-of-five games series will kick off on Sunday, November 1st at 1:30 p.m. from Thomas B. Southard Stadium.

For the second consecutive year, the baseball roster will be split into two teams, the black team and the defending Blood Bowl champions, the gold team. The format for the series remains the same, as well. It is a best-of-five series with the losing team to give blood at the Blood Net USA Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 17th from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

All are invited to attend the games as well as helping in the donation of blood. The current goal for the drive is 30 pint of blood, a mark that was reached and surpassed last year with 31 pints.

The series presents an excellent opportunity for players and students alike to give back to the community in a special, life-saving manner. Also, thanks to campus life, all students who attend the November 3rd game (game-three) will be given free peanuts and cracker jacks.

The schedule for the event is below, as well as the rosters for both teams. Make sure to attend this tremendous event and join the baseball team on November 17th in this life-saving cause.
