Wilson was hired as the head athletic trainer at Saint Leo in August of 1999 and is now in her 16th year of service. During her time at Saint Leo her duties and responsibilities have grown considerably, now governing over a staff which oversees the health of 19 men’s and women’s sports.
The Binghamton, NY native graduated from Cortland State in 1988 with a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and a minor in Athletic Training with a concentration in Adult Fitness.
She proceeded to earn her master’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Western Michigan in 1990.
Prior to her stay at Saint Leo, Wilson was the Head Athletic Trainer at Kalamazo College in Michigan. She also worked in a sports medicine clinic in Binghamton, NY.
Her husband, David, is an Athletic Director and teacher at Wiregrass Ranch HS. She has three boys Kyle, Bryce and Payton.
